Re: The Creation of Assets and Complications as an Action

Hello all! Thanks to a friend I was introduced to what I think is a simple and brilliant concept: The Creation of Assets and Complications as an Action. I added the idea to my home version of Microlite20 Purest Essence. What do you think -- worth the added complexity? Here it is with a link at the ...

Re: Grit and Bullets

No problem, @squirewaldo. I try to keep up with new Microlite20 variants. I don't always succeed, but I try.

Re: Microlite20 Expert Rules

In his case, what I wound up doing was taking the "extra dice" from his stats generation - the low ones that got thrown out - added them up and counted them as 10 GP; he wound up with something like 70 GP from his rolling, enough for some starting weapons and armor (also gave him a fast pack for fr...

Grit and Bullets

Grit and Bullets was inspired by Microlite2020 which in turn was inspired by Microlite20. If you are familiar with Microlite20 the primary difference is the replacement of the four (or in some versions five) set Skills with Backgrounds chosen by the player. Also, rather than races there are Classes....

Re: Thoughts for Science Fiction

Having some trouble thinking of a way to do classes for a sci-fi variant of m20. What I was thinking of was along these lines: You have a base class (soldier, scoundrel, scout, or scholar). These give you your base class functionality and choices for your character's abilities at every odd level. Y...

Re: Pocketmod Index

Question: Is there a list of all the available materials for Microlite in the Pocketmod format anywhere? Is anybody still making Pocketmods of new materials? I'm not aware of an accurate list of pocketmods. Unfortunately, they seem to have gone out of style as I seldom see a new pocketmod for any g...

Site Moving to rpg.place

I was renewing one of my domain a few weeks ago when I discovered that "rpg" was available in the new ".place" domain and said ".place" domains were the same price as ".com" domains (instead of outrageously high like some new domains are). Naturally, I snagged it as I like the idea of hosting "rpg.p...

Ok, I found the definition for CB in the OSE rules. Its nestled into the class descriptions.

I will try to make the definition of CB more visible in the next release.

I definitely want this to be something that gets released. At this point I have a pdf all setup with monsters, I'm just working to get some art made and play test them as much as possible for balance issues.

I'm looking forward to it. More monsters are always good.

Re: Microlite20 Violent Enemy Guide

As far as I can tell, as long as I include a copy of the OGL 1.0a we should be good. Since I'm hiring my buddy to produce original art we should have no copyright issues there. Is there anything I need to be aware of before producing and releasing Microlite20 supplements? In general, yes. However, ...
