Re: Microlite2020?

OK, so this is basically just opinion really and is only my impression after using the latest draft as a base for my own purposes. I was looking at the alternate stat generation options. For context, my purpose was to incorporate some of the concepts from Pathfinder 2 into the character generation p...

Re: Microlite2020?

I figured it must have been something from a ways back.
I was actually born in 78. (Not relevant, just meaningless coincidence.)

Wound points sounds better for sure.

PS- In the racial background lists...
Instead of con-woman, which kinda implies only females are unscrupulous, how about con-artist?

Re: Microlite2020?

Yay! My initiative idea is there as an option! :3 Good stuff all around so far. I really like the classes having 3 abilities each. (Though, Fighters and Rogues also get Weapon Finesse and Two-Weapon Fighting. :P) I still don't really like the term Body Points. I think I'll call them Constitution Poi...

Re: Game Downloads Moving to Forum

Cool.
It'll be great to have a spot to discuss specific aspects of the various rules while I develop my own variant. :)

Re: Single Player Adventures Suggestions/Design

I haven't tried many solo adventures (there seems to be relatively few of them, particularly for pathfinder, my main game at the moment). But for a quick and simple sand box-ish sort of level 1 adventure that can be expanded upon to a fair degree, I recommend Lunatic Labyrinth by Rising Phoenix Game...

Re: Microlite2020?

I like the new initiative idea.
Maybe include an optional rule where initiative is just 10+DEX and only roll a DEX check in cases where multiple characters have the same initiative?
Could make things run a smidge faster.

Re: New? Introduce Yourself Here!

Hi. I'm Ivan. I'm currently playing Pathfinder. I started with AD&D 2e back in the 90's. I studied programming. Am into videogame programming specifically. And I have a huge interest in game design in general. I found M20 recently and I'm interested in studying it and perhaps developing my own game ...

Re: What is your favorite Microlite20-based game?

That's what I really love about Microlite20, it's so easy to modify that it simply begs GMs to modify it to better fit their campaign and/or their group's style of play. Here here! That is one of my favorite things about it! While I was explaining the basic system to my girlfriend she asked if ther...
