The first time I read those words I was only slightly confused in that I wasn't sure if it referred to 3e or 3.5e. I'll say this though, while pouring through the pdfs I usually first look for that part because it usually has a general description of the particular suppliment or variant I'm looking ...

Cool. I'm eventually going to use something similar for my game. My best suggestion is to look at similar spells of different levels with similar effects for inspiration. Pathfinder has a ton of spells that improve as you level up so those might be useful too. Oh! Pathfinder 2e's whole spell system ...

Just my two cents, but I would go ahead and rename Hit Points and Body points.
Maybe...
Hit Points into Stamina Points
and Body Points into Health Points.

Otherwise, it looks pretty good so far.

For me, I'd heave to say "easy to learn, simple to run, and flexible to interpret."
Basically an embodiment of the idea that sometimes less is more.

I just started getting into the M20 system recently.
Haven't even played yet really.
Can't even say I have any favorites yet.

But I do find Eric Bullis' Resident Evil and M20 Cthulhu variants very intriguing.
