Microlite20-Based Retroclones

The games in this library are "retroclones" of TSR versions of the world's best known fantasy RPG: Microlite74 and Microlite75 (0e-based), Microlite78 (1e-based), and Microlite81 (B/X based) that use the Microlite20 core rules as a base. They are old school games recreated with more modern rules. No account or login is necessary to download from this forum and its subforums. Logged in members of Microlite20 Nexus may comment on and discuss each game/download in its topic.

    This is the Microlite74 download library. These rules are based on the very first edition of the world's most popular fantasy RPG, but use Microlite20-based systems. Published in 1974 this edition was published as three digest-sized booklets in a brown (later white) box, followed by several supplemental booklets.

  • Microlite75 Games

    This is the Microlite75 download library. These rules are based on the very first edition of the world's most popular fantasy RPG, but use Microlite20-based systems. Published in 1974 this edition was published as three digest-sized booklets in a brown (later white) box, followed by several supplemental booklets. Microlite75 is revision of Microlite74 to include a more standard 0e experience system and to include some of the more popular Microlite74 optional rules and standard rules.

    This is the Microlite81 download library. These rules are based on the Basic/Expert (B/X) edition of the world's most popular fantasy RPG, but use Microlite20-based systems. Published in 1981 this edition was very popular as it was published during the early 1980s "fad" period.
