This is an adaptation of the Microlite 20 Purest Essence rules for characters in any time period. Primarily, it is designed for contemporary adventures, where characters can be police, soldiers, computer experts, wilderness explorers, pilots, rock stars, cowboys and even supernatural heroes like modern sorcerers and vampire detectives. These rules are designed for a cinematic game, one that simulates the larger-than-life adventures and heroes seen in movies, TV shows, novels and comic books. Last revised April 15, 2014
