The Inns are "IN"

I still haven't used this one yet, but...

This was inspired by a trip to Downtown Disney last year.

The Polite Pig Inn and Tavern~
Owned and operated by two orc sisters named Bessie and Penelope.
(They were raised by human adopted parents.)
They employ a Half-ogre bouncer named Hogg.
(Not that bright, but ends trouble nearly as fast as it can start.)

What are some of the memorable Inns your characters have visited or that you have created for your campaigns?

The Inn of the Isles (an addition to the City-State of the Invincible Overlord) is definitely my most memorable inn. It was used in my first Empire of Arn campaign (around 1977-78). It's still remembered over 40 years later because of the the characters in the campaign kept calling it the "Isle of the Inns". The owner got so tired of this that they hired a powerful mage to cast a "nightmare" spell on the party. They went to bed one night and "woke up" the next morning (in their collective nightmare) on a tiny island in the middle of the open sea. Said island was completely desolate except for lots of arrow-like signs saying "in" pointing in random directions. After being stuck there for over a week (dream time) the party woke up in back of the Inn of the Isles in the trash.

That's awesome! I'm going to remember that for the next time my players get rowdy and stupid in town. ;D
Fun fact, The Inn of the Isles is about a year older than me.
